I'm Hannah and my lovely but slightly crazy nine20 partner is Joel and we are here for you during your first year in Nottingham University in Sherwood Hall. nine20 is a Christian meeting held every Tuesday at 7.30, where Joel and I will attempt to lead a cohesive Bible study to learn more about our faith. It’ll also be a time when we can chill, have fun, eat lots of sweets and get to know each other. So we will be having fun socials but also reaching out into Sherwood Hall with the message of Jesus. We are just excited about Jesus and what he can do in our lives and also the lives of the new friends we make in this year. The name nine20 comes from Luke chapter 9 verse 20 in the Bible: “What about you?” [Jesus] asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Hopefully we can challenge people in our halls with this question and excite them about how amazing Jesus is.
