Hello! Because you're reading this, chances are you're coming to Nottingham in September and living in HuStu hall. Well, congratulations - you have made the right choice: living in a stunning hall, slap bang in the middle of campus with some amazing people (and yes, we can guarantee this...)We are Lydia (History), Fi (Classics) and Rob (Law) and have the privilege of leading the nine20 group at HuStu this year. One of us is a closet High School Musical fan, another can moonwalk and the other has a rather worrying obsession with quiche. We'll leave it to you to figure out who!
nine20 is a group who meet together each week to study the Bible, pray together and support each other. Optional extras include copious banter and an abundance of really unhealthy food. The name is a reference to Luke 9:20 and we want to use this as a challenge both to us on a personal level, but also to go out into the hall and talk about our faith to our friends.
We meet at 7.30 on a Wednesday night in the Don Rees library and would love to see you there. Anyone is welcome so come along! If you have any questions (about anything: Uni/CU/Church...) or just fancy getting in touch before you get here, then feel free to drop us an email below.
